First of all, we hope you all had a lovely summer! The school year has come around quickly and we hope you're all ready for an exciting year in your new class! This term our topic is Superheroes, so here are a few points to prepare you for what we will be doing.

LLC - Superhero stories, descriptive writing, Superhero Me writing and lots of reading too! We will also have our spellings and handwriting too.

Maths - Place value, addition and subtraction.

Topic - Superhero descriptions, characteristics

Creative - Making superhero capes, shield design and making,

PE will take place on Monday afternoons from the week commencing Monday 14th September. Your child is expected to come into school in their PE kit every Monday. 

Welly Wednesday is every week and your child should come into school wearing wellys/trainers and outdoor clothing.

As you can see, there will be lots of exciting things going on this Autumn term and a lot to look forward to. We can't wait to see you and get started. 

Gentle reminders

  1. Your child is expected to read at least 3 times a week.
  2. Your child should complete the Maths homework that is set every weekend.
  3. Your child should come into school wearing suitable clothing/footwear for PE Mondays and Welly Wednesdays.
