Due to the situation surrounding Covid -19 constantly changing, we had prepared work for home that was to be done in event of our school's closure.  As this news has now been announced, the work has been sent home with pupils, along with any passwords they will require. We hope you will encourage and support your child/children to work through the tasks in order to ensure continuity of learning.

From Year 1 upwards, pupils have also been given a dated copy of a news publication, this is for the children to use how they choose; children can use it for reading practice, complete any activities contained with it, cut out pictures and write their own news stories to go with the image etc.... we are sure the children will have lots more ideas too.

For absent pupils whose families have already self isolated, details of work tasks will be published on class pages and we will do our utmost to get information /work books posted through to you.

Hopefully, things will get better soon and our school year won't be disrupted too much. We will keep in touch via school spider and parent email after school finishes tomorrow at 3:15p.m

 Diolch yn fawr!

What's Being Said?

"I never thought that Westwood was so large inside! From the road, it seems so small. What a wonderful use of space. The school has changed so much over the years!" - recent visitor to school
