Class 7 2018 - 2019

Mrs Hatton

I hope you are all enjoying the half term holiday. I'd like a bit more sun to do all the gardening jobs I had planned. Please remember to bring swimming kits to school after the holidays. I would like to start my class on See-saw but I do need all the consent forms back in to be able to use it. If you can't find the letter please call in and fill out another from the office or let me know at the end of the day.

Reading books need to be signed every evening or morning so your son/daughter are able to enjoy their extra play on Friday. If your son/daughter have their reading diary in school then I can put the new scores down for the spelling and reading tests that have been completed this term. Please read with your son/daughter, as they are very eager to move to the next level.

We are starting our new history topic ‘The Tudors’ and the children can’t wait. Historical topics seem to be enjoyed by all the children.

If you need anything just ask, I'll be at the door every evening. I'm always here on a Tuesday evening after school until 4p.m. You are all welcome to come for a cuppa and a chat.

Take care,

Mrs Hatton and Mrs Webster.

What's Being Said?

"I never thought that Westwood was so large inside! From the road, it seems so small. What a wonderful use of space. The school has changed so much over the years!" - recent visitor to school
