INTERNATIONAL DAY

Huge thanks to all parents and pupils who contributed to making Westwood's 5th International Day such a success.

It was fantastic to see the results of the learning that went on at home which demonstrated the fantastic efforts parents and carers  made to fuel their children's curiosity and imaginations.  On the day, in school  we enjoyed a range of activities including dance, song, art, design and technology, language, research, food tasting and artefact detectives. Fantastic food dishes from different countries were prepared and enjoyed by many children, and we would especially would like to extend  thanks to  those parents who sent in traditional dishes from countries they are from or where they have families.
