Thank you Mr. Cottrell

It has been fantastic to have Garry Cottrell(our school caretaker)  working with Y6 and talking about his life as a private in the army. Topics of discussion have included training in different countries and terrains, life in the trenches, mortar bombs, gas masks and protective helmets (as well as copper kettles), all used during war time.
