Exciting changes!

Our space seeds have had all the right conditions to germinate successfully, water, oxygen and warmth.

We now have many seedlings (small plants with few leaves).

A fantastic Chester Zoo experience for our children in Year 5 & 6. The Ranger surrounded the children with amazing artefacts, a trail on the hunt for wild animals and lots of dressing up too, as tribes people from Kenya. We await eagerly to read the news reports the children will produce telling us all about their exciting visitor...enjoy the pictures in the meantime!

Levi Tavari Poetry Workshop for Year 5, by Mrs Williams

Date: 25th Apr 2016 @ 9:06pm

Our Year 5's were inspired and excited to begin their poetry unit after meeting Levi Tavari at the Elfed last week. He shared a poetry masterclass with the children, who responded brilliantly with their own poems and raps.

Please look out for the children in the Junior Department, who are studying poetry as their new genre this term.
